Scripture, Reflection & Prayer 10/20/2008

Blessed is the man who follows not the advice of the wicked...but rejoices in the Law of the Lord and day and night meditates on his Law.
- Ps 1:1-2

Reflection: Among the prayers that we profitably address to the Virgin Mother of God, the Rosary occupies a special place. It is sometimes called the "Psalter of the Blessed Virgin" or the "Breviary of the Gospel and of the Christian life."
- Pope Pius XI

Prayer
: O Mary, your Rosary in its full form has fifteen decades and 150 Hail Marys, like the 150 Psalms. Grant me the same reverence for the Rosary that I have for the Psalms.
