Jesus proclaimed a mysterious and real communion between his own body and ours; "He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him."Reflection: Catholics hold a great reverence for Christ in the Eucharist. But that solemn reverence should extend to our own bodies and to our fellow Catholics as well. In communion, we partake of the divine nature, and become one with the host we reverence.
