Scripture, Reflection and Prayer for Wednesday, September 22, 2010

From Christ the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Reflection: The foundation and origin of the whole apostolate of the Church is Christ sent by the Father. Hence, it is evident that the fruitfulness of the apostolate of the laity depends on the vital union with Christ.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to be a contributing member of Your Mystical Body on earth. Let everything I do be done in union with you and serve to build up Your Body.
